I will rarely ask for a deposit.  Because we will talk and make sure everything is the way you want it to be.  But I do ask that I receive the cash/check at some point before the event happens.  Even if it has to be earlier in the day on the day of the event, it helps people not to forget.  And if you are a forgetful person and you know it, please feel free to send me the money as early as you see fit.  Getting a check in the mail is like Christmas everytime I open one up.  :)
